Exchange 2010

So I am in the middle of migrating Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. Something happened and my OWA and ECP and Exchange Console and Powershell are hosed.  I cannot get into any of them.  Is it possible to install another Exchange 2010 server from scratch and move everything to that server. I have a couple mailboxes on 2003 still and was going to try and move the rest of the 203 mailboxes over from the 2003 exchange server. Is this something I can do?

What error do you see when starting Exchange Management Shell?
What are you seeing when you try to open the OWA, ECP and Console?  Powershell should be giving you some information as to why it can't open up.

I have been getting all kinds errors and they keep changing as I try to fix it. right now it say The ws-management service does not support the request.  And OWA and ECP just say page cannot be displayed.  Now there I just discovered there is something wrong with autodiscover as i am receiving reports that outlook wont discover users because it say exchange server is not available.
I would definitely look at the Event Viewer logs and try to narrow the issue down to something specific.  If that doesn't yield any results there's always the scorched earth method of rebuilding all IIS vDirs:

Did you complete all prerequisites prior to installing Exchange 2010?

Yea I have been through all these last week to no resolution. I build all the directories, installed all the service packs. Now I'm looking under sites and services and the autodiscover folder is missing.  I think I need a new build at this point. Would adding another 2010 server cause any issues?
Im with the guys on this one sorry, I think we need to troubleshoot this to be honest.
Way too extreme to build another server whilst already migrating mailboxes to another one.

Feel free to post the problems up, considering your issue has been ongoing for over a week it probably is best to log a one off support call with microsoft, they will fix this quicker than here for you and for a reasonable price. A lot of people will try to answer you for points incorrectly either not me.

Personally I would ring Microsoft myself here and I am almost a master on exchange on this site in a couple of months.
Exchange posts all its major errors to the application log, I would be interested to see its after boot up errors in this log this should lead you to the source of the issue pretty fast.
thank you for reply. in the log there are tons of these.

QLWmiGetVSANInfo returned 1.

QLWmiGetVSANInfo: Error initializing (WmiInit() returned 1).

QLWmiGetVPortInfo: Error initializing (WmiInit() returned 1).

Starting the console I get The ws-management service does not support the request.

ive tried all fixes for the most part. things just seem to be getting worse.

I need to exhaust everything before justifying a $500 call to Microsoft unfortunately.
so another question. would this be relevant. Could I install another exchange server and only install the CAS role and Transport roles leaving the mailboxes on the broken server. Then migtrate fully to 2010, cause once I get this fully transferred, I am planning on jumping to exchange 2013.
You want to leave mailboxes on a broken server?  You could try that but there is no guarantee that a new CAS will even be able to talk to the server that's having issues.  I'm with Mark.  Call MS.

Have you checked to make sure all of the services are started?  I'm not even sure I'd suggest you reboot at this point.

You said "something happened".  Do you know what that "something" was?
I'm only going to leave them until I can move them.  I have been reading around and finding that most people haven't had any issues adding another server. basically to set it up as if I was going to do DAG but them just transfer the mailboxes over and go from there. I'm going to try installing another server first. I have all the important people backed up.

I'm guessing it was something with sp3 rollup 4. I saw a couple things about after installing that it caused some problems, but I checked everything it said to check and it was fine.
Oh and yea I checked all the services and rebooted.
