The problem here is after one tape is full , it does not append automatically to the second tapes And ask to insert the overwritable media. As the second tape is full empty, why it does not append to the second tape.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The model of tape drive is LTO MSL2024. I think this was working some day before but don't remember how it stopped and which day. All the above steps I tried like creating new job, Symantec is up to date. As per 5th point, the job is not failing but it stuck in queue and ask for inserting overwrite media. Please check the attach screenshot which tape library is giving error every now and then. Can this be the cause of problem.
Thank you.

Seems like some hardware with tape library as this problem arise suddenly without making any changes to the backup exec settings.
Your append settings for overwriting onto more than 1 tape are fine in this screenshot.
Try having a look at this how to if you want to setup overwrite protection on a media, this is from the symantec forums http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/how-configure-media-sets-and-overwrite-protection
