I have a Cisco Meraki router with a predefined DHCP Range.
I have a Win 7 Pro PC connected to the router and on the NIC settings for that PC, I have set the IP address purposely out of range, so no other device gets that IP. This PC hosts a MSSQL DB for the LAN.
This setup has worked for about an year. However, now the database is still working, but on the Meraki this PC is no longer listed under clients. As well, I use LogMeIn to connect remotely, this PC is no longer online in LogMeIn.
I don't know if this PC can browse the internet, and I'm going onsite to troubleshoot, but I don't know what to look for. The fact that the database is still available within the Lan is throwing me off.
Any help will me greatly appreciated.
