Bridge the VMware NAT to the Physical Ethernet adapter

Gurus,

I'm using VMware Workstation 12 with 2 debian linux VMs.

I need to bridge the VMware Nat to the physical Ethernet Adapter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can either select NAT from the adapter setting for the VM if you want the adapter to NAT and use the hosts IP address, or if you want to bridge the physical network select bridged instead. The VM will then get its own IP on the physical network.

Hi Rich,

I tried to NAT from the adapter settings for the VM. It didn't route.
Can you clarify what your trying to do? Are you trying to get an internet connection or make a connection to another host on your physical network or something else?

You originally posted you wanted to "Bridge" to the physical network so you should select "Bridged" in the interface settings of the VM.
