CUCM administration password and CUCM OS administration password

I am new to managing Cisco Unified CM and I have inherited a v8.0 system.  I was given the Cisco Unified CM administration ID and Password.  however this ID and password does not work to sign in to the Cisco Unified OS administration nor the Disaster Recovery System.  I did some research and found the I should console in and use ID=pwrecovery and password=pwreset and this will allow me to reset the administrator password.  Will this also rest the CM password?

I need to get into the disaster recovery system because the Cicso Unity Connnection administration is telling me that the backup is failing.

I consoled directly into the CISCO 2911.  I was not prompted for a username or password.  I have the enable password.  How do I reset the administrator ID and Password so that I can log in to the DRS and OS website.  I have the ID and password for  CM Administration / Serviceability / Reporting and for the unity web site.

I need to get into DRS to fix the backup
OK..I am an idiot...needed to plug into the MCS7828.  Well not actually plug in.  When the doc refers to Console, needed to plug in a monitor and a keyboard.  Tried plugging into what was labeled MGMT, but could not get it to respond with Putty.

Password reset was successful.

The following question was answered properly

Will this also rest the CM password?

Useful information about that question was provided, it would be nice if the time one takes to provide those details was rewarded regardless of the mistakes made by the person asking.
I am correcting the reward thanks for pointing this out.  The CM paasword was not changed from my research the CLI command to do this is: utils reset_ui_administrator_password
