Sype for Business and Office365

Does S4B need Office 365 or can work w/ any MS Office version? If it can work w/ any Office version, do we need to upgrade S4B in case wcustomer later decides to migrates to O365?

Thanks;

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It's not tied to the O365 (click-to-run) version, you can still use the old ones, but gradually features will stop working and you need to make sure you are running the latest bits. That doesnt necessarily mean that you have to switch to the C2R version, you can use the MSI.
