SaSS CSS

Hi,

I am working on an existing project thats CSS is generated by Sass.

Using a Mac, I am using compass. I navigate over to the Sass directory and run compass watch, I make a change in the Sass css file and nothing gets picked up in the watch. Do you have any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If there is an error then the compiler will not finish making the file. Are you getting any error messages or logs somewhere?
Computer GuyAuthor Commented:
no. while it is watching, no updates get made.
Brandon LyonSenior Frontend DeveloperCommented:
I'm not really sure what you mean by no updates get made. Do you mean the attempt to compile is not saved, or that the watched file isn't being loaded into the compiler?
Computer GuyAuthor Commented:
there is no attempt made to compile.

Are you sure you're watching the correct file and/or directory? What happens if you manually compile the file?
