Try this:

Get-MsolGroup -GroupType Security -All | export-csv -nti "C:\secgroups.csv"

Was it that esay?  Amazing, thanks a lot!

Is it possible to filter only those groups with DisplayName that starts with, say, "Abc"...?

It is, for example:

Get-MsolGroup -GroupType Security -All | ? {$_.DisplayName -like "abc*"} | export-csv -nti "C:\secgroups.csv"
