vCenter Management

We have 3 vCenters located in  different parts of the world.
Is there any specific way to bring all the 3 vCenters under one  Heading for the sake of  getting consolidated and detailed reports in vCenter vSphere 5.5; Rather than going to each specific vCenter?
For e.g. in VCOPS - We have WORLD and under World we have  vCenter -  USA, vCenter, UK and vCenter HK and it is easy to get consolidated reports.
Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, you can use Linked Mode, which would joined all the vCenter Servers, or you could have a single vCenter Server with all your hosts in, this would depends upon firewall rules and WAN latencies and bandwidth.

Thanks for your prompt response Andrew.  Is there any easy to follow guide for configuration in Linked Mode and  setting up Single vCenter Server.

I'm afraid, we could not consider it simple.

see the technical whitepaper

That does make interesting reading.  However, wanted a clarification:
Which will be a better option to ensure there are no complications.   Any specific tasks that I need to undertake before I attempt the above.  This is a 100% production environment.

vCenter Server is only a management server and does not affect Production of running VMs.

Obviously whilst it is' down being reworked, you will not be able to use to manage VMs, HA, or DRS, or vMotion.

Before you start sit down with a whiteboard, and check

1. LInked Mode versus Single vCenter Server connected to hosts (check bandwith and latency!)
