KMS not activating office 2013
I have a Windows domain. My four DCs are 2012 R2 and my domain/forest functional level is 2008.
There is one KMS server and it has several product keys installed. One of those keys is for Office 2013. However, my office installs are not activating when brought up. So, I'm researching.
When I run slmgr /dlv I ONLY see Windows Server listed. I do not see office, which I think I should.
In VAMT 3.1 there are several product keys for Office 2010, 2013, Windows 7, Server and they all show as CSVLK, but again, my new office installs are not activating.
There is an appropriate DNS entry publishing the server.
I seem to be missing a critical step and I can't put my finer on it.
Ideas?

I've gone thru the config but I picked KMS instead of Active Directory.

RantCan, my slmgr /dlv all shows Unlicensed
KMS probably correct for you. Mine was server so did Active directory.

I made "some" progress on this. I went back thru the config wizard and added the VOL LIC Keys for office and now it shows licensed and the counter is ticking away.
However, none of my server keys show licensed.
The difference was when I added the VOL LIC key for office, I received an option to activate it over the internet, which I did, and now it looks good.
On my server keys, even though I'm adding a key, it never lets me activate it.
So, it seems that I need to activate the license keys for my server OS but cannot see how to do that.

I opened "volume Activation Tools" in Administrative Tools, then select Activation method.
Office key is probably different, but should be in that area.
Did you go there?
