combo box - add item

I am adding items to a combo by setting row source to a query.  In addition to the item that are added from that i want to hard code another value to be added before the ones that come from the query.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What I would do is pull the recordset in code, loop through the recordset using the  AddItem method and insert the "extra values" whereever you see fit...

It depends on the row source.

For example you can use a UNION query to retrieve your hard coded value.

@ste5an is correct.  This is another way to do this.  It all depends on what you are looking for and what you are trying to do.
