Active Directory Users and Computers not Present

Hello all,
I have never seen this before.
I installed a brand new server (Windows 2012 R2) into a brand new forest/domain.
Went to add the role of AD DS and it states that it is successful.
Joined the server to the domain like it asked to.
Rebooted and logged on with the domain admin.
Went to add users and I cannot find the Active Directory Users and Computers, Active Directory Sites or any of the other normal Active Directory items.
What am I missing on this?
Do I need to uninstall AD DS, reboot, then reinstall AD DS?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you gone to Search and type Active Directory. It should populate the shortcuts there.

The GUI tools are a separate install. Add roles/features. Look under features for the management tools. Check the box for the ones you want. With PowerShell and remote management being more prevalent, it is not uncommon to see servers without the management tools installed. It isn't a sign of a corrupt install at all.

Okay under features I did not see anything that stated management tools.
