Active Quota Alerting on Local Folders

We are looking for a central solution to actively monitor specific local folders\directories (on domain PCs) and either restrict the user from saving files to that location after a defined quota is met, or at the very least send a notification when a threshold is reached for the specified folder.

We currently have SCCM 2012R2 deployed but cannot seem to configure this via SCCM. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can not do this with sccm.

The only solution i know is to set folder quota on folder share linked on Windows server.
