"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you set up a new Outlook PST account? And if so, are your contacts in another PST file?

Do you have a backup of your PST file?

Is Outlook running OK? Microsoft Update KB3097877 issued yesterday is wreaking havoc. Temporarily go to Outlook, Options, Trust Center, section on downloading images and check (enable) the first and last settings and uncheck everything in between.
