On my website I want to show pictures in a slide show and be able see the full size picture if clicked

I do not want to reduce size of any of my pictures.  Is it possible to do a slide show and zoom into a particular picture.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can load a image at full size, and then display as a thumbnail using a custom size, then you can expand the image to a full size image.

For example

<img src="yourimage.jpg" >

Open in new window

Displays your image in the original size

<img src="yourimage.jpg" width="300" >

Open in new window

Displays your image using 300px width and scaling the height to keep aspect ratio.

See http://jsfiddle.net/FranIg/9fuo22ws/ for a basic example using jquery

There is a lot of jquery slide shows that expand the original image
See http://designscrazed.org/free-responsive-jquery-image-sliders/ for various examples,

Some of them can display a regular slideshow and allow to expand the current image

In the above it only expands maximum to the screen size.  My pictures are much larger.  Is it possible to make it full size when clicked again?

It could be possible to add extra functionality adding some additional events when you click the expanded image. If the image is greater than screen size, what it's supposed to happen? you want to go to a full-screen resize or a scrolling container?
