Outlook 2010 and 2013 stops / crashes when opening emails with embeded images

I have 2 users - one on Outlook 2010 the other on 2013.

This week their outlook just stops (crashes), closes then says recovering and opens whenever they click on an email that has embedded images.

Weird thing is It doesn’t happen of every email that has images. Its like its trying to download the images but Outlook just stops.

I've tri3ed disabling add-ons and also deleting Content.Outlook (%USERPROFILE%\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook) but still getting the same issue.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
