Exchange mailbox move BES 5

I'm trying to move some BES users from one Exchange mailbox server1 to server2. If I run handheldcleanup.exe would that effect any user which is still connected to the old server 1?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Handheld cleanup should not affect any current users connected to the old server as long as both server intercommunicate. An example would be that you have an old 2007 environment and you are migrating to 2010. However, in that case, the BES service account would need to have been migrated to the new server first. The utility is typically used when someone changes OU's or something like that. Typically, that is when I have had to run the utility.
