ASP.NET Caching ViewState w/ Redis distributed cache

I've read about caching the viewstate using "NCache".  Can this also be done with a Redis cache such as from Azure?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes it can be done from Redis, that is another in memory database, Only difference is Ncache is more toward pure caching, all in memory. While Redis does have disk persistance.

Although wont be much difference when using only for caching, but Ncache will have a smaller learning curve, for more detail

Thanks Najam, do you know if there are any articles or resources on how to set this up (Viewstate caching) with Redis?
