Convert XML Gregorian Date to Oracle Date format
Hello,
I have an XML file where the date is stored in Gregorian date format as below
<pxUpdateDateTime>2012-08- 12T22:08:4 5.274Z</px UpdateDate Time>
How to convert this date into oracle date format MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS?
Please assist.

Oracle does NOT store dates or timestamps "in a format" (they are stored as sets of integers)
Humans need "formats" for dates, not the dbms, and what we see is controlled by nls_date_format
e.g.
select sysdate from dual;
alter session set nls_date_format='mm-dd-yyy
select sysdate from dual;
