Could you point good material references to start knowing Sharepoint process tools?

Hi Experts!

Could you point good material references to start knowing Sharepoint process tools and how it could work in conjunction with .net?
(I guess its own BPMN process like, I'm right)

I don't know where to start to begin, I know BPMN but have only user and limited experience with Sharepoint.

Thanks in advance!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SharePoint is not a good BPM solution. For such requirements I bought in solutions that didn't rely on SharePoint being in the loop at all but could work with it. (I went for K2 Blackpearl, but that was after a great deal of thought and other orgs would make different choices).

There's a couple of people berating the BPM abilities of SharePoint here; http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26708172/can-sharepoint-2013-be-used-as-a-out-of-box-solution-for-bpm

Hi,
for which SharePoint Version (and edition)?
Which .NET framework will you target?

Thanks.

Hello

I'm out of office now, I'm going to check it next week.
(Maybe some .NET services are going to be accessed from Sharepoint),
