Stronger Highlighting on Cursor Over Cells

EE Pros,

How do I get more control over the Cursor when I'm scrolling through a WS?  In other words, I can barely see where my cursor is when moving through some cells on a Spreadsheet that are color coded.  Is there a way to have a bolder box around a particular chosen cell?

Thank you in advance,

B.

Can you post a sample workbook having these difficulties so to implement a possible solution ?

Gowflow,

I could mock something up but it would simply look like a regular spreadsheet.  Let me see if I can be a little clearer.  Is there a way to make the cursor on your Worksheet stand out more; like it has a bolder border?  This way you can tell exactly where it is on the WS.

B.
YES

look at this only available in sheet1

try moving around the cell (we can change colors and so on ... but this is the feel.

Is this what your looking for ?

Gowflow,

Wow.... ok...that's an interesting approach to accomplish what I was trying to do.  However, is there any way to only impact the width of the box surrounding the selected cell?  Perhaps double lined or simply thicker?

If not, I'll try to use what you have provided.

Thanks,

B.
I will try to see if I can achieve what you want. Will revert

Wow...that is way cool!

So, as I try to apply this, I placed the code into "This Workbook" and I see that you have a Named Cell called "Cell" that changes with the movement of the cursor to different cells.  How do you get the color behavior to follow the cell?

B.
Thanks Gowflow!  Works great (I found the Conditional aspect) and I learned something new.  Doesn't get any better then that.

Appreciate the help.

B.
Your welcome. o change color format etc.. goto conditional formatting and Manage Rules and you will see the rule for this one that covers the whole worksheet click on it and edit then under format you can change to what ever color you like or other formatting ...
