Windows XP upgrade to Windows 10 - need Win7 key

I know you think I am crazy, but I have a number of 3-4 yr old XP machines (HP Core2 Duo) with 4gb RAM each & 32bit processor.  This client wants to upgrade across the board to Win10.  Ok with me, but he does not want to spend the money on Win7 just to get to win10.   Is there a shortcut from XP to Win10.  Obviously, under normal circumstances one would upgrade to Win7 and install the key, then download Win10.   I want to bypass Win7 or whatever.   Any suggestions would be most helpful.

As an alternative, is there a site you could recommend that offers very check Win7 keys???

Thanks in advance for you help.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

"he does not want to spend the money on Win7"

That's called piracy and discussing it is against EE policies.

What you are asking for violates the EULA of OEM purchased XP licenses, 7 licenses and even volume licensing if you have not purchased Software Assurance or are not operating under an EA agreement. In my opinion, there are no shortcuts for windows licensing, only the liability of not doing it properly. IF you are not aware of the licensing situation, I recommend having a reseller (such as CDW) access your VLSC records and put together a plan for truing up your licenses. You can get to the latest versions, but it will cost time and money to do it right.

No you can't do that. Never mind the poor hardware performance. Even if you went with Windows 7 there is no upgrade from XP - it's a fresh install. Windows 10 is a free upgrade only for qualifying WIn7/8 machines.

Even a cursory, basic read would tell you that you cannot do this. Why even ask?  Purchase the OS you need.
