how is the printer connected? usb - wifi ?<br />
and since it happened with many windows versions, either the setup is incorrect, or the printer can be bad<br />
did you test it on another PC also? &nbsp;try that

Windows 10 consistently says my Epson printer is offline when it isn't. &nbsp;I've had this happen before on many versions of Windows and with many different home printers. <br />

Printer shows offline in Windows but isn't

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media.
