exchange 2010 not running out of office

Hi,

My Microsoft Exchange Server is not running out of office for outside email senders. I tried on the OWA server as well as outlook. I checked the settings on the exchange server and it is set to send in and out of office.

Help please..

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When setting out of office there are 2 check marks, one for inside of organization and one for outside, Make sure you select both and fill both message boxes with custom messages

Are you using a smart host to send out ? Check to see if there is a policy drop no sender email , if so cancel this policy and the external recipients can get the OOF messege!

In the end the ISP was blocking it from spam.
