Accessing multiple boostrap modals on a single page

I am struggling to use multiple modals on a single page.

To be clear - I do not want them to show up at the same time.

Just have links that will activate a modal window - but several of those links on the page

I have the id set to the href link - i.e id="modal1" and then href="#modal1" in the link
	<a href="#m_messages" data-toggle="modal" class="list-group-item active">SYSTEM MESSAGES <span class="badge">0</span></a>

I have each of the modals with different id values.

I have the modal div code at the bottom of the page just above the body.

<div class="modal fade" id="m_changes" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="myModalLabel" aria-hidden="true">
  <div class="modal-dialog">
    <div class="modal-content">
      <div class="modal-header">
        <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">&times;</button>
        <h4 class="modal-title" id="myModalLabel">Update your contact details</h4>
      </div>
      <div class="modal-body">
          <iframe src="client_details_update_m.asp" />
      </div>

    </div>
  </div>
</div>

<div class="modal fade" id="m_messages" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="myModalLabel4" aria-hidden="true">
  <div class="modal-dialog">
    <div class="modal-content">
      <div class="modal-header">
        <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">&times;</button>
        <h4 class="modal-title" id="myModalLabel4">System Messages</h4>
      </div>
      <div class="modal-body">
          <iframe src="client_details_update_m.asp" />
      </div>

    </div>
  </div>
</div>

The only one that will ever show is the one first in the order - if I change the order then it changes the one that will show.

Any ideas? Is it even possible to do this?

Thanks

Use an </iframe> closing tag instead of a single tag i.e
<iframe src="client_details_update_m.asp"></iframe>

Instead of
<iframe src="client_details_update_m.asp" />
