Uninstall Exchange 2007 fails at Public Folders

I am attempting to uninstall Exchange 2007 from a Windows 2003 Server.  I get the following error message : "Uninstall cannot continue.  Database 'Public Folder Database.' This public folder database "EXCHANGE\Second Storage Group\Public Folder Database' contains folder replicas.  Before deleting the public folder database, remove the folders or move the replicas to another public folder database."

Now I googled the issue, followed multiple steps successfully, yet I cannot seem to get this behind me.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

You can export the public folder contents and delete it and create a new one in the new Exchange server and import.

if you don't need that public folder, i usually remove by using adsiedit. a bit brutal but always works.

P/S; ADSIEDIT is a powerful tool, use it at your own risk

If your sure you have the data simply remove the PF database or via ADSIEDIT so you can complete it.
Just dismount it and then delete via EMC

Public folders must not reside on the server where you are trying to uninstall Exchange.  Please remove it first using ADSIEDIT prior to running setup again to uninstall Exchange.
