Does your network and firewalls allow SMTP traffic to go to the server used for Domino?

A very basic way is to test using Telnet. Try this Article: http://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/2887/Troubleshoot-SMTP-Connection-with-Telnet.html

Mail in Notes is easier: when you have a connection, it works. You'd need to create multiple users in your test environment in order to really test sending mails from one user to the other.

PS Are you sure that the standard mail router in Linux is switched off?

You are mailing to Admin, so you'd use:
     mail from: someone@somewhere.com
     rcpt to:admin
and then the rest.

And to test Notes mail, well, er... you'd need the Notes client. :-)

To test other mail, SMTP or POP/IMAP, you can use any proper mail client. Thunderbird would do nicely, but even Outlook is supposed to connect to a Domino server, when it's correctly configured.

where i change my mail configuration? i think there is incorrect information

When you install Notes, you are asked for the IP-address or name of the Domino server. I hope you managed to connect to it. Your mail configuration isn't really required if you use Notes mail. What are you trying to do?
