Assistance with reverse proxy using Apache 2.4 needed please!

Hello Experts

I have 2 servers on the same subnet:

1 on 192.168.45.56 (the web application server)
1 on 192.168.45.55 (the wannabe Apache / Reverse Proxy server)

Both are running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

I have installed Apache2.4 on the reverse proxy server and it is working OK - I can see the "It Works!" page no problem.

What I want is for this Apache server to act as a reverse proxy and deliver pages from the server that is accessible from http://192.168.45.56/

I have looked at the server's conf files but this is new to me and I am not sure how to proceed.

Any and all assistance most welcome.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
