YOU cannot. &nbsp;You CAN, as others have suggested, file a report with the police. &nbsp;BUT, because generally, laptops are low value items, don't expect much more than accepting your report from the police. &nbsp;If the laptop ever gets recovered (because it was part of a larger thievery ring) you can probably get it back... but until and unless that happens, it's gone. &nbsp;Get a new laptop and watch it more carefully when in public places.<br />

You can consider a product like Lojack for laptops for FUTURE laptop purchases, but this one is almost certainly gone for good.
