Password Protect Network Drives

Hi Experts,

I was wondering if it would be possible to setup a network drive to be password protected. we use a SBS 2011 server which is where the network drives have been setup.

I know that I can alter the permissions to prevent access from OU's or Users but is it possible to just have it password protected.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you talking about a physical drive or a shared folder?

You can password protect folders not drives
