Thank you for your comment. &nbsp;Compressed air did not resolve the issue. &nbsp;I can't see any scraps of paper in the feed path, and the paper appears to feed without obstruction. &nbsp;The sound accompanies every line advance during printing. &nbsp; The only time I have cleaned the printer is every few years, when replacing print heads.

My HP OfficeJet L7680 prints with good quality, but it has started making a loud, clacking sound whenever the paper is advancing. &nbsp;I'd like to preserve the printer if possible, because it functions well aside from the annoying sound.
