Remote access RAS on server 2012 r2


I have setup vpn access on a server 2012 R2 and the connectivity is working.

Issue i'm experiencing is that when connecting via the vpn the ip address of my server 2012 changes to something different.
ip address of my server is but when connected via vpn i have to browse my server on

How can i change it so that it uses the static ip configured on the server i.e

Can you expand on the configuration...

Do you have 2 physical NIC's assigned to this server?

Is one of the NIC's managing the VPN/RAS traffic and is the other the local internal NIC?...

Are both IP's statically assigned to these NIC's?...

I thought this was no longer an issue but this looks a lot like your issue

I would create the static address pool in the first instance to see if this resolves the issue (In RAS >> Server properties >> IPv4 >> set static pool on a different subnet)
