SAN configuration help

We have an Oracle server that uses some SSD's on the SAN for its database storage.  I will be adding a MS SQL server that will pull data from Oracle and creating reports and writing to the SQL database.  I don't' have the budget to create a new virtual disk on the SAN with SSD's but have enough space to create a new volume using the current virtual disk. Would the drives be ok to do the reading from Oracle and writing to SQL or would I be better trying to create a separate virtual disk for SQL db with fast SAS disks that are less expensive that the SSD's?

Usually It would be best to put them on different disks, but as they are SSD and SSD's are fast (and don't have mechanical heads), you're best bet is to go for 2 virtual disk on the same SSD storage pool, and do some tests, if the performance is really bad, then use disks from another pool.

But I think that it will do OK.

The reading from Oracle would be from the SSDs that it currently resides on, so it's only SQL you have to worry about. ReportServerTempDB may have high IO but probably OK on spinning disks, saving the report will probably be fairly low IOPS.
