Can we limit the number of RDP session to just 2?

When ever I login to another windows server using RDP via MSTSC command then I see alway 2 random users are logged in and I need to forcefully logout then in order to login. Where can I increase the number of number? is there any consequences ?

Thanks!

Windows server (pretty much all versions since 2000) allows 2 administrators to connect, via RDP if desired, to perform configuration and admin work. Typically, that is enough, you really don't want to have too many admins changing stuff at once.

If you want more than that, for tasks other than server administration,  then you need to look at purchasing Terminal Server CALs.

It may be helpful to install RSAT (Remote server administration tools) onto your workstation. This will allow you to run ADUC, DNS and DHCP consoles edit GPOs etc from your local PC, meaning less need to log onto servers.

RSAT for windows 7 is here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=7887

That you can see "random" users shows that you have a severe security issue - obviously everybody is an admin?
