SSIS Insert into Oracle is very slow

Hello Experts Exchange
I have a SSIS package that has a flat file Source then a Data Conversion task, then load into Oracle using OLE DB Destination using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle, it has taken over 1hour and a half to almost load a 100,000 records.

I have also used a ASP.Net destination and that was just as slow.

How do I get the data into Oracle quicker?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SQL Loader.  That is it's sole purpose in life and it is very efficient at it:

If you can provide a table definition and some sample data we can try to provide the SQL Loader command file.

which SQL Server version and edition do you use?
Which Oracle provider? The "native" Microsoft one?

You might want to use either the Oracle provided ones (from the Oracle client installation) or use the drivers provided by Attunity (part of the Enterprise edition). They should be much faster.

On the other side there might be some kind of trigger / constraint checks on the Oracle side - but I am just a MS guy hence not that much experience inside of Oracle.
