McAfee MXLogix and Proxy - Ad blocking popups from Mcafee

We had mcafee mxlogix and are using the proxy service.  About 10 mo ago or so, we started having every single website start popping up 10-50 security logins related to mcafee, basically 1 for every AD on the page.

Instead of changing to a lesser policy for all users, do you know what specifically caused this and whether I can shut it off easily?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

have you talk to MXlogic about this?
they should able to pinpoint the issues.

I think there is some url you need to whiltelist (add them to trusted zone or local zone to allow username/password to tranverse)

I was using 1.0.0.x version of the proxy (autoupdates did not update to the new version of the software/extension on the epo server), after manually downloading an updated version and manually installing it (epo server wouldn't allow the manually downloaded extension to be installed...probably need to update the entire package), the issue went away.  There will be more to this, but the issue was basically that the proxy version went out of support and then there was an IE MS update which the proxy didn't know how to handle and it flipped out.
