Faxing from within Access using Ring Central fax service

I am attempting to use a command button on a form to send a fax via Ring Central fax service.  So far I am having no luck at all.

The code I'm using is:

DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "rptReportTEST", acFormatPDF, Me.cboFaxNumber & "@rcfax.com", , , "This is a test fax.  Please let me know if you receive it.", "Attached: Report for Client ID: " & Me.txtClientID, True

When I click the button the Outlook email window opens and I click Send.  But it seem the intended recipient never receives it.  Do I need to install some software on my computer in order to make this work?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

it seems your fax number is actually an email address.

   Dim sPathFile As String
   sPathFile = CurrentProject.Path & "\MyReportname.PDF"  '----------------------- customize
   DoCmd.OutputTo acReport, "ReportName", acFormatPDF, sPathFile

   Dim outApp As Object
   Dim outMsg As Object

   Set outApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")

   Set outMsg = outApp.CreateItem(0) '0=olMailItem
   'outMsg.Importance = olImportanceHigh
    outMsg.To = sEmail
    'outMsg.CC = "cc email address"
    'outMsg.BCC = "cc email address"
     outMsg.Subject = "Your subject line"
     outMsg.Body = "Your message"
     outMsg.Attachments.Add sPathFile
    ' If you want to edit the message then uncomment Display and comment Send
    'outMsg.Display
    outMsg.Send

Proc_Exit:
   On Error Resume Next
   'release object variables
   Set outMsg = Nothing
   Set outApp = Nothing
   Exit Sub

Proc_Err:
   MsgBox Err.Description, , _
        "ERROR " & Err.Number _
        & "   Procedurename" 'CUSTOMIZE

   Resume Proc_Exit
   Resume
End Sub

Can you manually send a fax using that email address? If not, then make sure you fix that first.

Here is what I had to do.  I set up an account with eFax.  Once I did that my code worked perfectly.

I had wanted to use Ring Central but the cost is too high and I found it confusing to setup.  When I went to eFax I set the account up in 5 minutes and the code worked.
