Users published app sessions not showing up in AppCenter

2008 Server r2 running xenapp 6.0.. When I have a user call with a "jammed up" published app usually I can just go into the appcenter and kill the session but occasionally and it seems to be happening more when I try and locate a jammed up published app I dont see it in the appcenter. I have to go thru task manager on each server to locate the username and kill it there. Any ideas why Im not seeing an open published app in the appcenter?

Those are typically sessions in a down state.  Usually there is some process hanging that is preventing the session from fully logging off.  Is there a particular app that seems to be more problematic?  When you find a hung session, what processes are still running for that user or session ID?

It does seem to be a specific app however Im not sure about the rest I will have to pay more attention to the specifics on it.. It happens about once a week or so

Did you installed latest roll up pack and latest windows patches on xenapp 6 environment. If not try to install the same and test it

as explained by brian ... search the hung application and kill one process from this session  after the other until the session closes.
Now you know the problem-process.
We need this process.
