MSDN subscription

Hi all,

I just bought Visual Studio Professional with MSDN subscription from reseller which i believes i am entitled to all server products except Exchange.
When i registered and logged in to the VLSC > software downloads , i only can see 14 products which are 7 developer tools, 1 windows and 6 windows server. When i clicked windows server, i see only win 2008 server products (see attached).
And when i click download, it shows "There are no downloads available for this product"

Where are the rest of the products? Did the reseller give me the incorrect product? or do i need to activate something else? or go another link to get the products?

I'm very confused. This is the first time i bought this MSDN subscription. I'm planning to use the products for testing and self-study for work purpose.

Thank you

Regards,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I just renewed myself, and had trouble getting the product "activated".  The whole process - from ordering to purchasing - is different this year, so I wouldn't be surprised if that played a role.

I reached out (complained) to Microsoft about the issues I was having, and one of their CSRs got back to me.  You might want to do the same.

Sounds like you got the wrong version of MSDN..

Look here for details/comparison:

https://www.visualstudio.com/products/subscriber-benefits-vs#AdditionalPageSections_1

BUT, I think what you want is MSDN Platforms or "Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN
and Visual Studio Enterprise" and what you got was Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN
and Visual Studio Professional, which doesn't seem to include the server test software.

What happens when you click on the Windows Server 2012 on this page? Are you able to download it after login?

You may also download the list of software available in your MSDN subscription. Find the Excel file link on this page.

Also each product on the Subscriber downloads page contains detail info about MSDN version where it is available.
You may use following link to jump into Windows Server 20120 R2 download: https://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/securedownloads/?#searchTerm=&ProductFamilyId=546&Languages=en&PageSize=10&PageIndex=0&FileId=0
