I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Rendom is the tool that you can use for Domain rename. Technet article given below would help you with the same.

One important note, while renaming domain please ensure that all the servers and workstations, etc are powered on in the network else for them domain name would not be renamed and then you need to remove them from the network and add them again.
