501 Unknown extension in database file name


I Send an FTP command from my PC to AS400 .

I just want to send a savf file on my Library.

Before, i have create  a save file in my llibrary to receive my  save file from FTP.

Here are the commands :

ftp>put savtoolprd.savf   toolsprd/savtoolprd
200 PORT subcommand request succesful.
501 Unknown extension in database file name

Before you send (PUT command) the file did you:

" First, you need to tell FTP to transfer the file unmodified, that is as a binary file rather than a plain ASCII text file. If you skip this step the save file's data will be corrupted."
