outlook 2010 crashed

I have multiple PDCs in AD, running windows server 2012 R2.  One of the PDC crashed and my outlook client crashed after I tried to access the send/receive.  My computer is running windows 7 professional OS.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There was a bad update (KB3097877) which was re-issued. Close Outlook, update Windows 7 completely, shut down (power off), start up and test.

If need be, open Outlook in Safe Mode, go to Trust Center settings and set (enable) Don't download pictures automatically.

This was a common cause of Outlook crashing last week. If related only to your PDC crashing, I am not sure.
