KMS Server Transfer

I am currently running KMS Server on one of my domain controllers for Windows Activation.  I will be demoting/removing the DC with the KMS  server from my network and I need help with transferring the KMS Server to another DC before removing it from my network.

Note:  All my DCs are running Windows 2012 R2 on single domain and single forest

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

KMS registration depends on DNS.

Are you familiar with setting up KMS?
Here is a link that should help setup your new server.
http://ivan.dretvic.com/2011/06/how-to-configure-a-kms-server-in-windows-server-2008-r2/

You can stand up another KMS server add your Key/Keys and the client should find the new server.
Then update or confirm that your DNS _VLMCS_TCP_<domain> entry is pointing to the new server. The next time the clients poll they will call on that server.

You can also manually initiate the polling by running slmgr -ATO from the computer you want to activate on.

Here another link that outlines the steps to migrate your KMS.
