"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Since you didn't post the most recent version of your project I used one from a previous question, so be careful if you've made any changes to the code since then.

In all I made 14 changes and I've attached the 3 files that contain them. You can open each of them as their own project (without a vbp file) by just double-clicking on them. The changes are bracketed by "Q28858959".

I assume you saw my previous post.

Question: Since we now open the calendar to the date that clicked in gridMaster, which one of the following do you want to have happen if your sister clicks "today"?
1) The calendar closes and the date in the grid is changed to today.
2) The calendar changes to today's date but stays open.
3) The calendar changes to today's date but stays open and the label1 that represents today is underlined or changed to a different color.

Note that I'm continuing to make improvements to your project and I haven't posted them yet but I have some new changes like now the calendar only opens once, rather than twice, which makes the coding easier. If that's a problem because you are also making changes, or for any other reason, let me know.

After giving thought i think just removing the today label would be ok. don't see a need for it
also don't forget i have changed the format of the date in column 1 from 12/25/2015 to 12-25-2015
do you want me to upload the changed grid ?

one thing that i have not mentioned.the calendar is opened when a new task is created so there is no return value to the grid

isnoend2001Author Commented:
in doing testing after opening the calendar if the month or year is changed the return value put into the cell does not reflect the new month or year

OK, add that one to the to do list.

If I fix the month/year change problem and let's say 9/15/2015 is selected in the calendar. Because of that the Label1 for the day will be sunken. If I move forward a month want do you want label6 to say? Also if the date were, say, March 31, and I went back a month to February, what should label6 say and which if any of the label1's should be sunken?

I'm sorry. I totally missed your answer to me question about "Today". I will remove "Today" and no, I don't need an updated grid.

Just to confuse things some more see post ID: 41284104 (the one just above your last post) for another question.
