SELECT option reset AJAX

I have a form with two select dropdowns.  I want one dropdown to clear another.  So if I use select Number one it will reset select number two. If I then use Select two it will clear number one.

The reason I need this is because it activates AJAX onchange.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,
not sure if you want something like this:
$(document).ready(function () {
	$('select[name="sensor"]').change(function () {
		$('select[name="meter"]').val("");
	});
	$('select[name="meter"]').change(function () {
		$('select[name="sensormeter"]').val("");
	});
});

$(document).ready(function () {
	$('select[name="sensor"]').change(function () {
		$('select[name="meter"]').val("");
	});
	$('select[name="meter"]').change(function () {
		$('select[name="sensor"]').val("");
	});
});
