"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To prevent the print command from within Excel:

To prevent the PrintScreen key while Excel has focus (doesn't prevent a camera image) see 'romperstomper' reply:

Grdox,

You can't achieve what you are looking for because even if you stop the user from doing that..he can just simply disable the macros which stops him and then take a print screen for it so you see their no full proof method to do what you are looking for...

The best thing that i can tell you is either hide the data or delete the data which is too sensitive for other users to see...

It is pretty hard to disable Print Screen (basic long term capability spanning decades). Here is a way with GPO but it is pervasive and not just for Excel. It also has some limitations, so best really not to bother.
