Change company name for 1000 users in AD

Hi all,

So I have to make additions in the company name in my AD. But for 1000 users, I am not sure. I know there could be a powershell script for that ? Any ideas ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You would use the Set-ADUser command.

Set-ADUser <user> -Company string

This page shows an example of a script to make bulk changes.

To change all the users right-click powershell (run as administrator)
type      import-module activedirectory   (press enter)
type the below command or copy and paste it in your powershell
Get-ADuser -filter * -property company | set-aduser -company "Whateverthenameisnow"

*company name should be in quotes as above*
