"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use Port Address Translation.

It does not matter what WAN interface is currently active.

hi Dan,

sorry, i will be clearer.

I cannot see how to forward from 2 external tcp ports to the same internal tcp port all be it to a different IP address.

That's exactly what PAT is for.

Define 2 services, one with External port 55000 and Internal port 3389, the other with External port 55001 and internal port 3389, then use PAT to forward to different IPs.
