"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does pressing F9 help to get new mails? If so, automatic polling of mails does not work.
Exchange or SMTP/IMAP/POP3?

Are you using Microsoft Exchange?  If so, I suspect that it has something to do with faulty caching.  You can:

1. Delete the email profile of the user with the email problem then recreate it to start from a clean slate.

2. Take her Outlook off Cached Mode.  What Outlook version are you using?  Here is an example:

I've requested that this question be deleted for the following reason:

My coworker was using my shared computer and asked these questions. He did not confirm that the solution worked, I am changing my password as a result and not checking the "Keep me logged in" option.
