Best practice for Removing Hyper-V replica and files
I have been searching for a best practice or easy way to remove files that are left over on a hyper-v replication destination server after replication is removed from a machine.
As most may know that the replication destination files and folders are log GUID like names.
Any suggestions for applications or tools to help with cleanup and/or documentation?

If there is no more replication and the folders/files are located in their own unique folder structure then it should be safe to delete that folder set.

Philip, I get that and have done that. What I am looking for is a tool or powershell command/script that can determine if replication has been removed from the VM then remove the associated files and folders.
I'm dumb founded as to why Hyper-V Manager doesn't do that to start with. If it can enable and disable replication why not have the option to remove the actual replicated files.

Get-Command –Module Hyper-V *repl* returns nothing. I will have to see why.
